Hi, I'm Eva, an Amsterdam-based flow artist, fashion designer, and the founder of Flow by Eva.
My journey into flow arts began in 2021 when I saw someone dancing with an LED hoop at a party. Someone told me, "That's so your thing." They were right. I started with hooping, took a course, and then spent countless hours teaching myself through practice, online tutorials, and simply playing with movement.
After moving from Utrecht to Amsterdam, I discovered the local circus and fire spinning community. What started with hooping soon grew into a love for many different props, including silk fans, spin fans, levi wand, dragon staff, and double hooping. Today, I also perform duo acts and love sharing my passion with audiences at festivals, events, and fire gatherings.
Flow has become so much more than a hobby. It has given me confidence, a creative outlet, and introduced me to a welcoming community where people inspire, support, and learn from one another.
My love for making flow wear started when I fell in love with slit weave suits and decided to make one myself. After my first custom order, I realized I wanted to create pieces for other performers too. That's how Flow by Eva was born.
Today, I design handmade, made-to-order flow wear that moves beautifully and helps performers feel confident and uniquely themselves.
When I'm not sewing or spinning, you'll probably find me enjoying vegetarian food, exploring nature, learning fun facts about animals and plants, or laughing and dancing with friends.
